Web-Comix

I was just thinking about webcomics and how many of them there are.Webcomics if you don't know(and if you do humor me) are basically comics drawn by cartoonists who hate OR weren't good enough (mostly the latter) for syndication in news papers.The majority of them are either videogame based or furry animal porn based.

Webcomics suck and that includes mine,I'll come right out and say it.Especially ones that think there that great,that they warrant merchandise,forums,and God-forbid fansite.Although some like Scott McCloud swear that it is the future for some and haplessly encourages indie cartoonists to go that route.

I firmly believe that web-based cartoons COULD be the way to go...if we could weed out the "sucky" ones from the great ones....or at least the most profitable ones.The problem is,like web animators ,it's almost nearly impossible,'cus you know it's all on THE INTERNET.So I'm not exactly sure what the solution should be.Webcomics is the new "Underground" comix....to me at least.

This all senseless rambiling.Webcomics are a pretty tough route....especially for guys like me who want an "outlet" to show some of my works...and MAYBE live off of it,wether it be web or newspaper syndication.The problem is though I guess,for me,is,trying to distnguish if going web-is right for me or not....or if it's the best option for me or not....I dunno...I hate explaining things...in words...on the computure or paper...
